So after last week's surprising win, the Broncos took a surprising loss today at home to the Oakland Raiders. They're just full of surprises these days, eh? Today's was not necessarily a good surprise. And sadly (or not sadly, if you're an avid they-can-do-no-wrong Denver Broncos fan), they still have a shot at making the playoffs this season. What do you think? Do you think that a team that's had such a hot and cold season, played incredibly inconsistently and not won games that they have no excuse for losing deserves to make the playoffs? That's the question that's currently posed on the Denver Post's website. I'm not so sure that you can really decide if a team deserves to ever make the playoffs. Going to the playoffs isn't a right, it's just about which team plays the best in it's division. And if the Denver Broncos happen to be that top team, even if they're not really...well, great...this year, then they're the team that makes it. Even if that doesn't really say a lot about the way the way the team has played as a whole over the course of the season. I don't know, maybe I'm just ranting for the sake of ranting. I want to know what everyone else thinks! Tell me your thoughts...
Next up on the Denver Broncos schedule: playing IN New York at the New York Jets...hmmm, taking on NFL hottie Brett Farve, should be an interesting game...next Sunday.
